A SEX-starved businessman was so hung up on his ex-girlfriend after she dumped him that he paid $18,000 to recreate her as a life-sized sex doll.

The 50-year-old man put together a collection of pics of his ex and told Italian adult toymaker Diego Bortolin: "I want it just like her but with larger boobs", Italy’s Il Messaggero newspaper said.

Mr Bortolin, who hasn’t named the man, creates extremely realistic sex dolls at the factory behind his shop, named "Temptations" in English, in Treviso, Italy. read more…

Family send pet pig to canine obedience classes

They get a few strange looks when they take Patrick out for a walk but to them he is a ‘joy to be around’ and is even taking obedience lessons.

‘It’s like having a fourth child – he is brilliant, the children are great with him and he’s great with the kids,’ stated mother-of-three Catherine Louden.

‘He stays in the house, but can’t get up the stairs because he only has tiny legs and is a bit heavy.’

And she states he ‘socialises a lot more with different people’ since attending lessons at the Happy Dogs obedience school in Hurworth in Co Durham. read more…

Man blows himself up trying to kill a spider

However he was unable to see whether it was dead because the bulb in the bathroom light had blown. At this point he turned to a cigarette lighter to illuminate the room, but in the process ignited the gas fumes and caused an explosion.

The blast was so strong it blew the man off his feet and lifted the loft door off its hinges.

He suffered flash burns to his head, legs and torso and was rushed by ambulance to hospital after dousing himself in cold water.

White tiger cub in Indian zoo turns black

Black tigers are rare. Biologists believe a massive presence of melanin, the dark skin pigment, is the likely reason for its uncommon colouring.

Tigers’ skin colour is determined by the presence of black and yellow pigments. In most tigers, the colour yellow dominates over black to give them their characteristic colouring.

“In this cub, the reverse has happened — black is the dominant colour,” senior zoo biologist Dr Manimozhi told The Times of India.

Nuns to host annual surfing contest

NUNS from a Pennsylvania convent are preparing to host an annual surfing contest in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.

The Sister Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will launch the 15th Nun’s Beach Surf Invitational with proceeds going to the maintenance of its 150-bedroom beachfront retreat on the harbor, the New York Post reports.

The pact between surfer and nun in Stone Harbor was forged more than 60 years ago when local surfers approached the retreat asking if they could ride its waves. read more…

Serial ‘hoarder’ found buried under piles of rubbish at home after four months

Police had searched the house several times while looking for the 67-year-old who was known to be a compulsive hoarder.

Sniffer dogs had been sent into the property but were unable to locate the body amid floor to ceiling piles of clothes, rubbish, empty food boxes and other goods that Mrs James had stored. Officials believe rotting food and other pungent smells stopped the dogs from working properly.

“For our dogs to go through that house and not find something should be indicative of the tremendous environmental challenges they faced,” stated Las Vegas police spokesman Bill Cassell. read more…
