Goat leads cops on wild goose chase

A police chase with a difference – a runaway goat had cops hoofing it around Melbourne for hours.

THERE were the men who stared at goats, now there are the cops who ran out of breath chasing one.

This kid was at it for hours – leaving a couple of frustrated police officers hoofing it around Melbourne in a puff.

Police and animal experts tried everything to haul her in, but keeping up with the pacey goat proved fruitless.

Eventually they caught up with the runaway kid who, if nothing else, improved the physical condition of Melbourne’s finest.

Naturally, we assume the goat’s name is Fenton. That is all.
